The Hit List for iOS 2.5.2 Now Available
Hello everybody, welcome to the first update of The Hit List for 2016, and it's a biggie! We've been hard at work to squash lots of bugs and make lots of small improvements. Here's the full run-down:
iPad
• Choosing the location for a new task location occupies a smaller portion of your screen
• Slightly clearer wording for the button that shows or hides completed tasks
• Fixed bug where changing the tags, repeat rule, or location of a new task would slightly upset the card's layout
• Fixed a crash-on-launch problem which could occur when using the app with iPad multi-tasking functionality
Today Widget
• Tasks are badged to indicate if they have notes now, just like the main app
• Fixed bug where due date was sometimes laid out in the wrong spot
Lists, Tags and Folders
• Clearer naming of the location of lists and folders during editing
• Resolved issue where editing a list, tag or folder on the main screen would leave the app in a mixed editing state
• Fixed minor cosmetic glitch where editing the tags associated with a task could result in a weird double selection
• Addressed issues where lists or tags could could unexpectedly be shown as selected on the main screen
• Better handling of deleting lists and tags
• Choosing the location of a list, tag or folder:
• More concise view of your folders without lists and tags cluttering it up
• Fixed glitch where some folders would be collapsed and unable to be expanded further
Moving Tasks
• Very long task titles are truncated neatly, rather than growing too wide
• Fixed bug which could sometimes stop tasks from being moved to their desired list
Sync
• Improved layout of sign-in screen
• Fixed handling of a full sync being required
Other Bug Fixes
• Links to non-Apple apps were unable to be opened
• An empty list could result in the button for accessing completed tasks becoming jammed as if selected
• Crash when using the swipe shortcut for deleting tasks from search results screen
• Crash when trying to edit completed tasks on iPhone (or similar multitasking environment on iPad)
• Choosing an end date for a task repeat rule works again
Now available from the App Store. If you get the chance to leave a review or rating there, we truly appreciate it.
Thank you, and a happy new year!
